A holiday tradition for 27 years, The Carolina Opry Christmas Special bring the spirit of Christmas to life with music, comedy and dance. Referred to as "The Christmas Show of the South," this show is at the top of every Myrtle Beach Holiday itinerary.

The 2012 season brings exciting new changes blended with your favorite traditions; new talent mingled with your favorite rotating artists - including All That, Rocky Fretz and special guest, Joni Nathanson! All That, clogging stars of NBC's America's Got Talent, return with all new materical for 2012. A member of the original Carolina Opry csat in 1986, Rocky Fretz has been dazzling our audiences for over 25 years. Joni Nathanson is a Grammy-nominated singer who has had a single top the billboard charts for three months. Nathan Herron, an incredible vocal talent and star of American Idol, returns as emcee for his second Christmas season. Expect to see some new material carefully blended with your traditional favorities.

The Carolina Opry Christmas Special is the original Christmas show in Myrtle Beach and has been perennial vote leader as Best Holiday Show in Myrtle Beach.

Shows run November 1 through January 5, 2012, with regular evening performances and selectively scheduled matinees.
