Description
Sunset River Marketplace art gallery in Calabash, N.C. announces that the monthly Creative After Hours will feature artist Janette Montgomery on Feb. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. With Montogmery’s guidance, participants - who need no experience in this area - will create their own unique linoleum-block prints to create a personal Valentine gift or card.
Montgomery will show the group how to cut, ink and press their own prints. Images will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own.
Participants should bring their own wine or other beverage to drink. The gallery will provide all snacks, hors d’oeuvres and materials.
