Description
Celebrate International Observe the Moon Night at Ingram Planetarium. Join Planetarium Manager Edward Ovsenik and Planetarium Educator Robert Morris on Sept. 6 at 7 PM in the Sky Theater for a short presentation about the Moon and International Observe the Moon Night. Then go outside and view the Moon, Mars, Saturn, and other celestial objects using the planetarium’s telescopes, binoculars, and cameras (you may also bring your own). The evening will culminate in a group photo that will be shared with the International Observe the Moon community and will be posted on the planetarium’s website and Facebook page. You will receive a certificate of participation. The rain date for this event is Sept. 7 at 7 PM.
