The promise of artificial intelligence is clear for those of us in the technology department.
But, often that enthusiasm for innovation doesn’t translate to executives more focused on the financial and outcome-based metrics that comprise their bottom-line.
Rebecca Armstrong, Deputy Director of AI, Projects and Innovation at the University of Canberra, knows how to define transformation success and partner with the business to deliver on key projects.
Her work in the University has covered creating new data lakes, developing artificial intelligence applications, and rolling out chatbots that serve as key information tools for her students. Yet, her most important lessons revolve around taking the business on the journey with her, and showing – not telling – them what success will look like.
