Description
Mercy Care will honor over 70 active Horry County Police officers for their time in the service with a pinning ceremony, Friday, June 14. The pinning ceremony will be held at 10:00 am in the Horry County Government Building, Rooms B, C, and D, located at 1201 2nd Ave., Conway.
Mercy HONORS is a program started by Mercy Care in 2009 as a way to say “thank you” to our veterans. Many report that the Mercy HONORS ceremony is the first time they have ever received a thank you for their service to our country. Since the program’s inception, over 1,300 veterans have been honored, including Mercy Care patients and those within the community.
There are 34,000 veterans in Horry County and many more in the other areas served by Mercy Care. Statistically, less than 50 percent of veterans receive any form of care from the Veterans Administration.

Coccadots Cake Shop of Myrtle Beach and the Conway location of Jersey Mike’s Subs will provide food and refreshments.
