Description
Fred Myers will give a presentation at Ingram Planetarium at noon on Friday, August 16 called Coincidence or Pattern? – The Discovery of the Planets. The presentation is open to the public and it is free. Bode’s Rule reveals an interesting pattern regarding planetary orbits. Is it coincidence or is there an underlying cause and effect? In his talk, Mr. Myers will explore some tantalizing coincidences and provide an historical perspective that puts the audience in the shoes of the early astronomers in their quest to discover new planets in the Solar System.
