SBA Small Business Resource Day
Learn how the SBA can help you access the capital and counseling your business needs to succeed.
- 9-9:30 -- Meet consultants/counselors from SBA's resource partners and learn about their free counseling and low-cost training services.
- 9:30-11:00 -- Financing session covering SBA's loan programs, eligibility and what lenders look for.
Note: In order for the seminar to begin on time, please allot an additional 20 minutes to your anticipated travel time to allow for parking and building security. (Federal building security procedures are similar to those used by TSA; be prepared to possibly remove belts, jewelry, loose change and shoes with metal components.)
About the SBA: The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses. Through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations, SBA delivers its services to people throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands and Guam. Follow SBA on Twitter and likeSBA on Facebook to learn about new developments and news of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Because this event takes place within a federal building, you must bring a driver's license or other government-issued ID to enter.
What are my parking options?
Very limited visitor and handicapped visitor parking is available behind the building on Park Street. Additional public parking is available in the parking garage at the corner of Richland and Assembly street (across the street from the federal building). Call 877-717-0004 for rates.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Because this is a federal building, do not bring any object that could reasonably be considered a weapon, such as nail scissors, pocketknives, and pepper spray. These items will be confiscated by building security.
