Horry County Legislative Delegation Seeking Applicants For Boards And Commissions 2/1/2021

The Horry County Legislative Delegation is currently seeking applicants for the following boards that have vacancies, expired terms, or terms that expire in the near future:
 
  • Horry County Board of Social Services 
  • Horry County Disabilities & Special Needs 
  • Horry County Higher Education Commission  
  • Board of Voter Registration & Elections of Horry County 
  • Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority
  • Horry/Georgetown Commission on Technical Education 
  • Murrells Inlet/Garden City Fire District Board 
  • One Percent Rural Fire Local Board 
  • South Carolina Forestry Commission – Horry County Board 
  • South Carolina Foster Care Review Board-15C 
  • Saltwater Recreational Fisheries Advisory Board – Horry County Board 
  • Veteran’s Affairs
  • Waccamaw Center for Mental Health Governing Board 
  • Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments
  • Waccamaw Regional Transportation Authority
 
Individuals interested in serving should call the Horry County Legislative Delegation office at (843) 915-5130 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or email at Novotny.Danielle@horrycounty.org. The deadline for receiving applications is February 26, 2021.
