Big Paws Canine is proud to be partnering with the CVMA 34-3 Combat Veterans of Myrtle Beach. This joint partnership will be hosting a Poker Run on October 22, 2016 for the benefit of local Horry County Veterans and First responders.
Enjoy a fun day riding throughout Horry County for the Pistons & Paws Poker Run. Registration is only a $10 donation for bike, cars or trikes and begins at Harley Davidson in North Myrtle Beach at 10am (kick stands go up at 11am). Pre-registration can be done on-line at www.BigPawsCanine.com to guarantee your shirt size. We will make our way to the Big Paws Canine Facility in Aynor, down to Bucksport Marina, over to The Coop in Conway. We will end the day at the Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet where they will donate lunch and provide the space for live music, raffles and the announcement of the winning poker hand.
Local businesses can help support the cause by inquiring about sponsorships for the fliers, media and t-shirts. Just contact Chris at Chris.cvma@gmail.com or call Mary at Big Paws Canine toll free 844-Big-Paws x701.
23/65 Campaign: Big Paws Canine recognizes that a minimum of 23 Veterans take their own lives each day; that’s one every 65 minutes. We have lost more Veterans to suicide than during the entire course of most wars. One life lost in this way is too many. It is the mission of Big Paws Canine to do everything in their power to offer our Veterans and former First Responders an alternate source of support, comfort, and assistance to help them in the battles that they face now that they are home.
With locations in South Carolina, South Dakota and California, Big Paws Canine Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) registered Non-Profit organization. Big Paws Canine supports Veterans and First Responders by training and providing Service Dogs to those injured in the line of duty. Operated entirely by Volunteers, no one takes a salary. All costs for the Veterinary Care and equipment for the Service Dogs is provided by donations, grants and fundraising events.
Big Paws Canine Foundation is located locally at 1379 Horry Road, Suite 215, Aynor, SC 29511. More information can be found at www.BigPawsCanine.com or on Facebook. Donations may be tax deductible and can be mailed to the local address or made on-line.
