Description
The 18th annual Family Day takes place in the Museum of Coastal Carolina parking lot and features free admission to the Museum plus free and low-cost activities that include temporary tattoos, nature crafts for kids to make and take home, Touch Tank feeding, OIB Sea Turtle Protection Organization, used book sale, and more. Explore an OIB fire truck and police car and meet members of the Brunswick County K-9 unit. Hot dogs, Sunset Slushes, soft drinks, chips, and popcorn will be available for sale. And this year, volunteers are selling Boston Butts for $25; proceeds will benefit the Museum and Ingram Planetarium. In case of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside the Museum.
