DESCRIPTION:McLeod Health is pleased to announce the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the new patient tower at McLeod Seacoast. The community is invited to attend the ribbon cutting and open house on Wednesday\, September 5th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. \n\n \n\nThe new patient tower will officially open for patients on Monday\, September 10\, increasing capacity from a 50-bed community hospital into a 105-bed state-of-the-art medical facility. \n\n \n\n"This new tower is so much more than just bricks and mortar\," said Monica Vehige\, Administrator of McLeod Seacoast. "These walls house a place where lives are touched and healing begins. Our staff make a difference in people's lives every day and this gives us the opportunity to do even more."\n\n \n\nCommunity members will have an opportunity to tour the new 108\,000 sq. ft. facility which includes 2 new patient floors and dedicated ICU. The evidence based design is family-focused with the patient and their family's comfort paramount.
