Owners\, Scott & Sally Pennington\, have spent many years NC & SC and they wanted to provide goods that are mainly produced in these two states. Their merchandise includes Sally's personally made jewlery\, Essential Journeys (Asheville) and Southernness "Sea Y'all" Candles\, artwork and crafts from native North and South Carolinians\, an array of food products and cookbooks to delight any Southern cook\, Southernness nightshirts and a fantastic greeting card section. They also create gorgeous gift baskets and provide free gift wrapping and ship anywhere for  flat US Postal Service fee! \n\n\n\nThere is much more\, but suffice it to say\, "this is the kind of gift shop where you will find something for that somebody on your list who already has everything or is difficult to buy for".\n\n\n\nThey will be giving away samples of "beach lotion" at the ribbon cutting\, along with a tasting of almost all of the food products.
