DESCRIPTION:The American Cancer Society\, Barefoot Landing and Flying Fish Public Market & Grill invite you to "FLOCK THIS WAY". They plan on putting this October in the Pink! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Barefoot Landing has made plans to "PINK OUT"!\n\nOct. 1-13 "Pink Your Flamingo" art created by local artists (and amateurs) will be on display at Flying Fish Public Market & Grill. All patrons are invited to vote for their favorite flamingo. The top 5 Flamingos from the voting will then proceed to the final "Celebrity Judging" at the Flying Fish Public Market & Grill to determine the winner. All flamingos will then be available for donation at a live auction.\n\nMake sure to "Flock" to Barefoot\, Oct. 13th\, for its third annual "FLOCK WALK". The walk is to demonstrate our commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness and to finding the Cure. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and the walk will begin at 10:00 am. Early registration will begin on Sept. 1: Adults $20 and $10 for children 12 and under. Registration the day of event will be $25 for adults and $15 for children. Beginning Sept. 1\, you may register by going to the Barefoot Landing office (M-F\, 8:30am-5:30pm) or by calling the American Cancer Society office at 843-213-0333 (M-F\, 8am-5pm). Registration will include a free "Flock Walk 2010" t-shirt (day of event) while supplies last. The walk will begin and end at Flying Fish Public Market & Grill. On your return to Flying Fish there will be a "Flock Party" and it will be immediately followed by the "Pink Your Flamingo" finals and live auction. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of North Myrtle Beach/Little River and Breast Cancer Research.
