DESCRIPTION:Join us for our July Networking at Noon and our Q3 Business Buzz Installment focusing on Workforce! Hear from 3 local Industry experts to better your understanding of an everchanging hiring environment!\n\n\n\nRusty Gaskins - Rusty Gaskins serves as the Business and Economic Services Manager for the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments\, covering Horry\, Georgetown\, and Williamsburg counties. He has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Francis Marion University and a Master's in Public Administration from Clemson University. Rusty serves as the communications link between businesses and the state workforce development system and assists local municipalities with planning and grant services. Active in the community\, he serves as Vice Chairman for the SC Department of Commerce's Advisory Board for the Waccamaw Region\, is a member of United Way of Horry County's Self-Sufficiency Council\, is a member of the Myrtle Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce's Scholarship Board\, and is a member of the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Board of Directors. Rusty is also a graduate of Leadership Grand Strands Class XXXIII and the SC Economic Development Institute\n\n\n\nMatthew Tyler - Instructional designer and technologist in the Center for Teaching Excellence to Advance Learning (CeTEAL)\, goes above and beyond his professional duties at Coastal Carolina University to cater to the needs of faculty\, staff\, and students.\n\n\n\nAlisa Green - Currently the Area Sales Manager at Manpower of Myrtle Beach. Manpower delivers innovative workforce solutions to organizations nationwide and helps talent find meaningful\, sustainable employment.\n\n\n\nBusiness Buzz is the Little River Chambers take on a Lunch and Learn. Typically hosted in the chamber's meeting center\, attendees can enjoy a catered lunch via Mission BBQ and an hour long classroom session facilitated by 3 topic experts!\n\n\n\nNetworking at Noon provides an opportunity for members to network in an encouraging environment. Members who attend Networking at Noon regularly stay visible with their colleagues and business peers\, providing each other with numerous opportunities to refer business and grow strong\, robust\, professional relationships.
