No one knows what causes thyroid cancer\, but because it is normally detected early\, most people do very well with treatment.\n\n\n\nDr. Marie LiVigni\, of McLeod Seacoast Internal Medicine\, will be conducting free thyroid cancer screenings on March 15\, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center. Dr. LiVigni will be screening for possible thyroid nodules using neck palpation.
