Do you have one place where you keep all your important records and documents handy? If you ever had to make a run for it, would you have all the important documents you needed to rebuild your life? Hopefully, those documents are in a fireproof location, and assembled inside a great, organized binder where you can find everything quickly. No? Then, let's get started creating your own Emergency Binder!

The Create Your Emergency Binder workshop promotes emergency preparedness. Attendees will learn the importance of keeping an updated emergency binder and have an opportunity to assemble a binder. In addition, attendees will learn other emergency preparedness tips.
The Little River Chamber of Commerce has partnered with local businesses & organizations to provide a variety of professional & personal development seminars to further our community's skill sets. This program, dubbed Business Buzz, is provided at no charge to Little River Chamber Members (and staff) and Grand Strand Scene Members. There is a nominal fee of $15 for non-members.
Business Buzz is held at CresCom University, 1180 Hwy 17 North, Suite 3, Little River, SC 29566 (Same building as chamber office on the second floor of CresCom Bank).

About Horry County Emergency Management
It is the mission of Horry County Emergency Management to lead the county’s all-hazards comprehensive emergency management program through: collaborative planning; educating its citizens, businesses and visitors; and coordinating response operations and recovery initiatives.
The Horry County Emergency Management Department strives to enhance planning and community resilience through preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation initiatives; optimize public outreach strategies, and expand organizational capabilities to meet future program demands and requirements.
Horry County Emergency Management is responsible for developing emergency response plans and taking a lead role in the coordination of those plans during an emergency. Emergency Management employees work closely with state and local officials to gather resources necessary to overcome a disaster or emergency situation. Our employees train for many types of disasters but hurricanes are a primary concern due to our coastal location.
Our primary objective is to make the Little River area an even better place to live, work and play. The Mission of the Little River Chamber of Commerce is to Promote Community Improvement, Tourism, and Commerce by Proactive Leadership and Community Involvement.
